Zoning Permit
Permit needed for items not covered under the Building Permit. Examples are change of property use or repaving a driveway. Cost is $75.
Utility Permit
Permit needed when work is being performed and it requires cutting into a road. Cost is $65.
Temporary Use Permit
Permit needed for temporary projects that do not meet the other zoning requirements. Cost is $50..
Solicitation Permit
Permit required to solicit. Cost is $35.
Permit needed for putting up signs. Cost is based on size; $.50/square foot. Minimum cost is $35. For portable or temporary signs, cost is $50 and also requires a $100 refundable security deposit.
Residential Use Permit
Permit for moving into a residence. All adults can be covered under one permit. Cost is $35.
Pool Permit
Permit needed for an pool taller than 2'. Pools under 4' require fencing, which requires a Building Permit if necessary. Pools with filters and pumps also require a UCC Permit. Cost of Township Pool Permit is based on the size of the pool. Cost of the UCC Permit is calculated by CodeMaster Inspection Services, the Township Inspectors for UCC. Two copies of a plot plan and information on the filter and pump must also be submitted.Permit needed to run a business from a home.
Home Occupation Permit
Cost for a new permit is $35. Annual Renewal fee is $25. A Letter of Intent must also be submitted every year.
Excavation Permit
Permit needed for excavation. Cost is $75. In some cases a grading plan and permit may be required. Please contact the Zoning Officer prior to applying.
Demolition Permit
Permit needed for demolition. Cost is $75. In some cases a UCC permit may be required. Please contact the Zoning Officer prior to applying.
Burning Permit
Changes have been made to Ordinance. Please read the permit to understand changes. Any questions please contact the Municipal Office. Permit needed to burn trash. Cost is $25 and is valid for the calendar year in which it is
purchased.
Moving Permit
Permit needed when moving out of current residence/business. All adults that are moving to the same address can be included on one permit. Cost is $20.
Business Use Permit
Permit for Business Occupancy of a building. Cost is $35.
Building Permit
Permit used for any construction on a property. Cost is based on square footage. Minimum cost for sheds/decks is $35, minimum cost for additions/garages is $50, minimum cost for new construction is $60, and minimum cost for fences is $35 with a maximum cost of $40 for fences only. Two copies of a plot plan must also be submitted
Uniform Construction Code Permit
UCC Permits are submitted to the Municipal Office and forwarded to the Township Inspector. The Township Inspector determines the cost of the permit and notifies the Municipal Office so that the Municipal Office can notify the applicant. This is the permit required for any electrical or plumbing work. This is also the permit required when work to be performed changes the structure of a house (e.g. putting in windows or doorways, decks above 30″, or replacing rooftops). This list of reasons for needing the state mandated UCC Permit is not all-inclusive. Any questions, feel free to contact the Municipal Office.
Subdivision and Land Development
Permit used for Subdivision and Land Development. Submissions must be in by noon on the 15th of every month to be included on the Agenda for the next month’s Planning Commission meeting. Recent changes have been made and expect a few more changes to SALDO in the near future. Costs include
- Sketch Plan $75
- Site Plan $75 and $500 escrow
- Preliminary Land Development Plan $150 plus $25 per acre and $1500 escrow
- Final Plan Land Development $100
- Amended Plan $150 and $500 escrow
- Minor Subdivision or Lot Line Adjustment $125 and $500 escrow
- Major Subdivision Preliminary $175 plus $25 per acre and $3000 escrow
- Major Subdivision Final Plan $100
- Open Space and Recreation Fee (Major and Land Development) $2022/dwelling
An escrow deposit is required to cover engineering and legal fees. The unused portion will be refunded after all conditions of the subdivision are completed. Recreation fees will be collected per Ordinance 90-1, Resolution 2005-21.
A copy of the Stormwater Management Ordinance# 2007-04 should be picked up from the Municipal Office.
